You & Me

I used to be you. They snatched us and took us away from the land of our mothers. They raped and pillaged the minds of our brothers. They carried us like famished stocks of cattle and flocks of dehydrated and malnourished pheasant. But yet you forget. Why do you look at me that way like I chose to come here? Why must I walk around with my head down, drenched in guilt and shame. I was the one who was deprived of wearing my father’s birth name. I didn’t want to leave you, I had no choice. I didn’t speak the language, I had no voice. Stop veering at me with those eyes of hate. It has been so long but I will never forget the date. The time when I had my arms stretched screaming your name, asking you to come and save me. They held you back and closed their eyes, they did not want to see or even think of my demise. We floated in waters unknown. We heard creatures with unfamiliar tones. We departed from the only people we had known. We cried and screamed but no one was listening. No longer Kings and Queens, animals we would now be known. I didn’t want to leave you; that you must know. Instead of staring at me like I am some stranger, embrace me while we feel the wind blow. Tell me that you remember my eyes, they never changed. Even though my skin is lighter, don’t you still know my name? I am you and you are me. We are brother and sister, we are family. Look within, and remember that even know my DNA is a little different now, I am your kin. I carried a bow and you packed the arrows. You made the spear and I fetched the water. Don’t you remember me, I am your daughter. Our ancestors carry the same name; I know you before the history books made their fame. We would run through tall grass of green, we would lie down and seek the stars. I might have left you but look in your heart, I didn’t go far. I have always been with you and you with me. They could not change what has always been, we are blood, so One we will always be.
“African American” is now what they call me.

Felons Vote!

“Felons can vote this year.” I heard that statement on this Saturday. My questionable reaction was ‘What?!” and my feeling was dumbfounded. I speculated why I hadn’t heard of this and also I wondered what was so different this year than any other. My first planned course of action was to send out a world wide shout out to let everyone know of this; after some research of course.

Monday morning on my way to the j-o-b, I phoned a family member who lives in CA and has been convicted of a felony in his past. Fortunately, he has not allowed that label hinder him. He is a profound business man and it making good for himself and his family. I asked, “Have you heard that felons could vote?” He chuckled and stated, “I have been voting all of my adult life.” I was so surprised. He stated that there was no question on the voter registration card that asked if you have even been convicted of a felony. Immediately, I began to wonder why everyone thought and believed this horrendous myth. I wonder why we just “went along with the flow” and didn’t research or ask questions.

Now as I sit here informing everyone who was guided to this writing somehow, the statement, “Ignorance is bliss comes.” I say that because us not knowing this has hurt us so badly but it has blessed others, if you catch my drift. We have been walking around ignorant to the fact that as a people we have much more power than we allow ourselves to have. We have been the source of demise, just by carrying out the lie. I stand accused in this continued unawareness. As I speak I am internally forgiving myself for not knowing. I am forgiving myself for wondering why but not digging for the answers to my questions.

I am now wiping my slate clean by informing the masses of people who are like me in this moment. I command you to do this research for yourself and alert everyone that you know to do the same. If you just do not have the tenacity to do so, at least spread the word that in some states, FELONS CAN VOTE, this year and every year after that! Let us not wonder why this genocidal fairy tale was carried out, we should all know the why. Let us work on the how. Let us focus on the what. Let us be the who. Together we can take a stand with the newfound knowledge that we have and we can make a difference. One person cannot change the world but together we can mold this puppy into what we want it to be. Let’s do this man!

Depending on the state you live in, if you have had your voter right taken away due to a felony conviction or for any other reason, you can request to have your voter right restored. Certain states like Nevada have already restored felon’s right to vote. Go to your states government page and search for the election page or even more specific: voter right restoration. Don’t give up, look until you find the information you need and then pass the knowledge!

Diving within...

Deep Within

"Today I must dive deep withinAnd know what I comeTo this earth-stage for."
Sri Chinmoy

What are we doing here? Why wasn't our purpose laid out in plain sight? That is for Spirit to know and for you to find out so you will also know. Our mission in this time space reality is to find out who we are but we find ourselves wondering and pondering the mystery of all of this. We find ourselves allowing ourselves to become lost in the illusions. At times, our senses lead us when we should be connected 24/7 in Divine Spirit. When we find ourselves in this position, what comes next? What do we do? Let's go back, give your Spirit consent to go back to where you first began. Close your eyes, follow your breath and feel within. Feel deep within your soul and connect with your inner Queen. Then and only then will you hear and feel what you have come to this earth stage for. Who says that you cannot begin again?

Namaste,

Freedom...Priceless?

Freedom is priceless, isn’t it?
I read a quote the other day that stated that “freedom was priceless.” I thought to myself and I figured out that based on our society’s current mindset, that statement could be agreed with and debated at the same time.

Freedom has been defined as, a state in which somebody is able to act and live as he or she chooses, without being subject to any undue restraints or restrictions. By measuring your current situation to this definition, are you experiencing freedom, and if so, at what cost did you obtain this freedom?
It has been said that the state of being free can not be summed to equal a certain monetary value. Feeling free is a glorious feeling but is that same freedom actually priceless? I am sure we have all heard of people paying a deep pocketed price for freedom. People have died and been tried for freedom.

The dictionary defines priceless as something that is impossible to put value on or worth more than can be calculated in terms of money. How can freedom be priceless when we function with the perceived notion that we must pay for it? Mental, emotional, physical and even spiritual freedom seem like they come with a price tag in most situations. I have witnessed people pay a pretty penny for physical freedom. Some people live under the assumption that they must pay for spiritual freedom or they will suffer in the afterlife. Counselors charge by the hour for what some think is a process of gaining mental and psychological freedom. The divorce rate is fifty percent and the course of action is not free either, emotionally freedom is sought at a cost. We continue to seek outside of ourselves to buy our misguided conception of freedom at any expenditure.

Some of us are hostages of our egotistical minds. We envy the people whom have more than us because we think they exist with more opportunities to obtain freedom than we do. Often we validate ourselves according to what we have. We measure ourselves by our assets or lack there of. We calculate our happiness according to what we have done in our careers, our schooling and etc. We think that we are not complete if we do not have a mate and we settle for less than what we deserve. Is that freedom?

To some of us even happiness comes at an expense. Do you ever find yourself saying these statements? I will be happy when…or if I had this…I would be ok. We are not satisfied until we have a particular type of an automobile or a certain sized house. I am not stating that obtaining these things is wrong but what is stopping us from being joyous right now? When you think about that, ask yourself if you primarily find happiness in tangible objects or even in other people. We expect people to love us unconditionally but we are so conditional when it comes to loving ourselves. Why does something have to occur for us to be pleased? Why don’t we live in the moment? Why are things so important to us? Do we forget that our Creator just wants us to be happy? Do we put man’s opinions before God’s?

How can we free ourselves from the emotional and egotistical bondage of your minds? Let’s expand the way we think about ourselves and our situations. Let us begin by opening our minds and our hearts to the priceless thoughts and admiration of the Universe. Let’s measure ourselves by the breath that we breathe and the love that we give. Can we remind ourselves that we were made in the image of the Divine and therefore we are a value that is beyond price? Let’s come into contact with the Spiritual us who is perfect, loving, beautiful and magnificent. Let’s grace ourselves with positive and uplifting affirmations. Let us reach within and discover our truest passions. Let us discern the intangible things that add unto our happiness, i.e., the sunrise, the wind blowing on our faces, birds singing, the moonlight, a beautiful skyline, laughter and etc. Let’s free our souls from comparing ourselves to the illusions of the world. Begin with believing and knowing that we create our own reality and therefore we can take control of our destiny. Let’s take responsibility for our delights and make ourselves a priority. Let us stop functioning in the mindset of an ego-led society and unlock the doors of our Spirits! Together we can enjoy the splendors of the Universe! Our discoveries will indeed be invaluable and we will experience a freedom that is indeed priceless.

Embrace this Truth and remind yourself that:
“My Lord does not want to know what I have done for Him. He just wants to know how I am. If he hears from me that I am happy, then he himself becomes exceedingly happy. In unmistakable terms He tells me that my happiness is His real and only Satisfaction.”

Perception

I see the greatness within you
There may be such things that others don’t see
But it is so visual to myself because for everything that is within you is within me
My eyes look beyond perceiving you physically
I have been given the gift to look into your soul and that is the truth that means the most to me
Would you like to see what I see?
Close your eyes, open your heart and it is me that you will be sure to be

Within Me

Within me

It has been said that real recognizes real but I don’t know if that is true because the Queen in me, you have failed to see

I walk in the Light, I am shining constantly and your eyes still refuse to seek inside of me

You decline to see who I am so that leads me to realize that you can not know who you are

The Source within me told me to recognize that you were a King and I listened with my heart

I have attempted time after time to allow my Truth to penetrate the darkness you are choosing to be

You continue to walk around with your eyes closed, ignoring what your soul has known since its beginning

The love within me is so great that, in space the stars and planets can see

I have such a yearn to give it to you but you don’t even love You so it is impossible for you to adore me

I am the Truth and I am the Light but since you neglect to see, you being within my destiny cannot continue to be.

We Can Remember

In this lifetime we go through what some people may call ups and downs. They are correct to call it that because it is a teeter totter experience at times. We have allowed our consciousness to ride the spiritual and physical see saw of life but for the purpose of this message, instead of ups and downs, I will refer to those times as learning experiences and reminders. For this life we live is just that, a learning experience and a reminder.

We choose life because we want to learn who we are and who we have once been. We want to learn why we function the way we do and why we do not. We want to learn about others and the people that we love. We want to learn what our purpose is and why we were placed in the earth in the first place. So we spend our time in this reality searching for the answers; searching for clues that will guide us in knowing. We search for love, peace, trust, guidance. We search for pain, hate and fear. We search until we finally remember that we were not supposed to be searching. We remember that everything we were searching for is within us already. We remember that everything we thought we were missing was right in side of us all along. We remembered that God placed our treasures in the best hiding place ever, inside ourselves. But since we forgot, we looked away from us and we looked outside of us.

This point of remembering is a joyous feeling. The point of remembering is heaven on earth in every moment. We now remember that we do not have to fear. We now remember that we are love. We now remember that we are faith so therefore we always have it. All we have to do is remember what we have allowed ourselves to forget.

I remember much more than I did before. I remember that I am. I remember that I can breathe. I remember that this breath connects me with every single person in the Universe and therefore we are all One. I remember that I can see. I can see with my spiritual eyes and that allows me to look past my senses. I remember that I can feel. I can feel this Divine connection with me, my spirit and our Creator. I can close my eyes, breathe and feel this ultimate experience in this very moment. I remember that I can love. I can function in pure innocent love and in doing so I can heal. I can heal from every illusion. I remember that I can just be.

In this moment of remembering, at this very second I am filled with luminous light and glory as I am listening to Divine love, I am listening to Divine power, I am listening to Divine passion, I am listening with Divine understanding. I am listening with fearless faith. I am listening with zeal. I am quietly listening to pure spirit whispering in my ear telling me to just breathe. Telling me that I no longer have to worry. Telling me that I am the treasure within. Smiling at me. Waving at me. Embracing me. In this moment I am surrounded and encompassed by my own spirit’s love. In this moment I remember…

"Between Me & You"

First and foremost I wish peace, unconditional love and joy to all of you. I pray that each and every one of you are blessed and that you appreciate every breath that you breathe in this moment.
I wanted to give everyone in my life an update on my forthcoming masterpiece of literature, "Between Me and You." I have 1 more, I repeat 1 more writing to complete the "meat" of my book. I currently have the greatest illustrator constructing the design for the cover and the pages. As August is flowing into our present sooner and sooner, I am extremely excited and grateful for the release of my first published book.
I am asking for your Light and Love in this moment and for the rest of my days. Please continue to give me your support and send prayers my way as I continue on this journey we call LIFE and come closer to shaking hands with my Spirit.

Much love and constant peace,
Tiffany

Can I just be?

Is it ok if I just talk to you in lemans’ terms and use the words that I use everyday?
Must I think of all of those profound but complicated expressions when I sit down to pray?
Is it truth that I must close my eyes and that my head must be bowed in order for you to give me your attention on any given day?
Do I have to attend church services, belong to the choir and be one of the deacons for you to know that I am okay?
Must I read the Word on a daily basis and recite the verses verbatim for you to stay in the depths of my heart?
Wasn’t our relationship exempt from separation at the very start?
According to you must I dress a certain way and cover up the skin I am in?
Should I change my tone and modify my speech in order for your love to be within?
Is it fair that they say I can only love the one whom is opposite of me; that I cannot make love without experiencing matrimony?
Does all of this need to occur before you can shine your light on me?
Must I face east; confess 3 times a day and jump up and down when I praise for you to recognize that I love you the same?
They say that I must go through someone else to get to you; that I am not pure enough, not wise enough and that I must die first.
Is that true?
Is that what I must do for my soul to be soothed?
Do I live by their protocols, go by their guidelines and follow their rules in order for your love to flow within me?
Can’t I thrive in Your consciousness, change my name to I am and function in Your resourceful power in order to understand?
Can’t I remind them that I was made in Your image and that I am the author, the director, and the writer of this screenplay?
Can’t I exist in the wish fulfilled, create my own days, manifest my dreams and make my own realities; must I partake in their disillusioned misery?
Can’t I just be…Me?

Remember who I Am

Remember who I am
I am the queen who reigned in the land of the Nile
I am the womb in which you evolved
I am the mother who raises your children
I am the heart with which you love
I am the woman who was made from your rib
I am the dust that created beauty
I am the mind that created time
I am the eyes with which you see
I am the blood that stores your genetic makeup
I am the Earth
I am the Moon
I am the Stars above
I am woman
Remember who I am

Suitable Cure

What will you do when the high no longer numbs you and it’s just you and your thoughts?
You say that you are strong and full of might but without that artificial fix, your mind just doesn’t feel right.
Your psyche tells you to do things that make you seem insane.
There are voices lingering in your head calling you by name.
What will you do when the substance doesn’t elevate you like it used to?
What will take place when that closet weakness that rules you is no longer subdued?
Will you give up living and permit the evils to reign?
What will you turn to when you can not withstand the hidden anguish and pain?
Have you ever considered going within to find a suitable cure?
Or is seeking inside of yourself too much for your soul to endure?
There is a Sourceful Bliss that might actually do you some good.
You look as if you need the help. I would assist you but only if I could.
For you must see that all that you seek is within you.
Once you surpass this illusion you shall be closer to finding You.
But it’s your life and your experience; don’t go by what I say is true.
I have found peace with me and it is reality that I will continue to pursue.
Basking in the Light is where I am.
But you seem to enjoy darkness and that is your choice so I understand.
You have been ok for this long so I will leave you be…I’ll go on my way and continue to do me.

Infant Spirit

Looking out my window watching infant spirits play. Somehow and for some reason unknown, they manifested themselves into this time space reality. Running and playing without a care in the world. They are free. One of them thinks he can fly and he will if he doesn't believe them when they tell him that he cannot. He came here knowing everything. He knew what he wanted. He knew who he was.

A little mind...so open, so fresh, so imaginative, so innovative. A small person of peace. A ray of light. What will he come to be? Will he allow the ways of the world to transform him? Stay close to You little one. Remain aligned with your inner being innocent angel. Please know the Divine. Don't let them rape and pillage the beauty of your mind. Be free, be power, be love, be light, be peace, be joy, be happy...Just be my sweet spirit, just be.

Let It Flow

The world does not pause and wait for your sorrow to pass. Wipe those tears, turn that frown upside down and let the past pass away in the past. Let it transcend back to where it once was. Life goes on like it never occurred and you should do what it does.

Does the sun cease to shine when the moon is a glow? It continues to be bright even in the night. It has to rain in order for your soul to grow. Will the story repeat its self? No one really knows. Love, laugh, and be the light; that is where your spirit wants you to go, not wondering and worrying about the unknown. Remind yourself all that life has shown.

Oneness

Blind of all visual sight and purely functioning in heavenly spirituality, living the Christ- like experience of pure God consciousness, embracing and manifesting in the fact that every Being is at One in Gods mind and therefore we are all spiritually connected is the key. Going back to where we came from, traveling back in time when we were first created and thought of in Gods mind eye.

Yes, Jesus the Christ and master metaphysician, Muhammad, the neighbor across the street, the serial killer that is serving a physical term of life imprisonment, the child whom is hungry and you and I are Divinely One. There is no way we can get away from this truth.

Stripping ourselves of everything and every thought that we have allowed this physical manifestation to place on us and getting back to the pure God spiritual consciousness is how we can realize that we are all One in Spirit. Holding onto our likenesses and not our differences, accepting that each one of us is perfect where we are, judging not, and recognizing that we are the equivalent in Divine Mind will help us to experience the pure love that is beyond color, race, gender, creed, sexuality, all boundary, limitation and bondage.

When we permit ourselves to grasp on to this Universal Spiritual Love we can understand and voluntarily participate in the Oneness and therefore attain tranquility. This acceptance will bring upon a deep rooted healing beyond all human understanding, a soothing that only the Divine can assist us in manifesting into our current reality. This God Consciousness can bring peace, harmony, joy, and miraculous spiritual and physical expressions in our lives.
