Love yourself more

January 13 ~ When you hate yourself, you can't possibly love anyone else. I'm not referring to completely despising yourself but I am referring to not adoring every single part of your entire being. I am referring to existing in a space where you love everything about yourself.
Particular entities have a major impact on people's self worth by assisting people in discovering what's negative about them. Some have been on the forefront of instilling shame and guilt within people for centuries. They say you must act a certain way, you must dress a certain way, you can only date certain people. The list of unfathomable mandates goes on and on. This has caused people to look down upon themselves. People see themselves as flawed and eternally imperfect, never being deemed as good enough. This kind of mental, emotional and psychological bondage is unhealthy and its unfair. What you get when you try to make people be something they are not is a lot of people sneaking around being who they truly are behind closed doors; hurting people hurting other people in the process.
So I say no matter what anyone or any book says, embrace who you are. Love yourself unconditionally. You will never be able to please everyone. The only person worth pleasing is yourself. Don't look down on yourself because of what society or religions say about you! You are good enough to be happy. You are good enough to be free. You are worthy of just being who you desire to be.

Until next time and with much love,
